As the Vice President, Search, Mel has over 30 years experience in senior human resources leadership positions. With a background featuring domestic and international roles in diverse industry sectors including oil and gas, manufacturing and agriculture, Mel brings a wealth of human resources knowledge from a business, organizational and employer perspective.
Mel is a Past President and lifetime member of the Human Resources Association of Calgary, and holds an undergraduate degree and Human Resources Management Certificate from the University of Calgary. He is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach as accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF). Mel was recently recognized by the Human Resources Institute of Alberta with a Fellowship designation for his leadership and contributions to the field, one of only two such designations in the province.
