Peter is Vice President & General Manager of Toombs Inc. in Vancouver. He has worked in human capital management for over 15 years, with experience in career transition and career management, coaching, assessment, teambuilding, staffing effectiveness, and organization development. He also has a strong background in employee compensation.
Peter has been interviewed by and published in various periodicals, including the Globe & Mail, ROB Magazine, BC Business, Benefits & Pensions Monitor, the BC Technology Industries Association Monitor, Canadian HR Reporter, and the Vancouver Sun. He has consulted in the US and Asia, and speaks regularly on human capital management issues.
A part-time professor, he sits on the advisory committee for the business program in HR Management at Kwantlen University College and is an active member of the BC Human Resources Management Association. He is the past Chair of the BC region of WorldatWork, an international association of human capital management professionals. Peter holds an MBA with a specialization in Managing People & Organizations from the University of British Columbia.
